A Cool (Literally) Cooktop in Our Homearama Charlotte 2011
Our kitchen was voted BEST OVERALL KITCHEN in Homearama Charlotte 2011. It is beautiful and functional and not over the top with costly pro-style appliances.
One of the unique features of the kitchen is the magnetic induction cooktop by Thermador. This cooktop cooks with electromagnetic waves instead of the more typical direct heat. The benefit is faster cooking and a cooktop that stays cool. Take a look at this video and note how Chris Folk is able to boil water then but his hand on the cooktop surface.

Wouldn’t it be great to meet the designers of the homes in Homearama? Ask any question you like about color, floor plan, furniture or fabric. Here is your chance. This Friday Oct 21st is Designer Day. Come to the homes and meet the designers Friday between 11:00 and 2:00. Should be a great opportunity for some new trend info.
Jill Kinney and Barbara Forester of Forester and Kinney Interiors will be at our home. They did all the interior design of the home. You will love meeting them. Together they have study interior design trends and have developed a mature, very comfortable interior for the Evans Coghill Homearama home.
